About Boom Creative Works

What’s up with that name?

The name Boom Creative Works is inspired by my last name, Boom. It may sound like a fun last name and I really enjoy it, but most people don’t know it is originally Dutch and translates to ‘tree'. That’s just a little fun fact and you just learned a new word. ;)

Who are you? How did you get here?

My name is Jordan and I have a problem with staying in my own lane. You see, I have always loved working on creative projects, especially photos and videos. I studied video production in college and put all of my energy into just making videos. Well, then I moved abroad to work with a nonprofit and they asked me take on some photography work. That led me to start learning as much as possible about photography. Thank you YouTube! Shortly after starting my deep dive into photography, I started a Masters Degree in Digital Communications and started my journey in social media, website design, and email marketing.

For awhile, I started to think I made a mistake. I branched out in so many different directions that I felt like I was limiting myself to be a professional in just one area. Now, I realize the extent of how all my areas of expertise are interconnected and I can use my knowledge to my advantage.

My Mission and Vision

I started Boom Creative Works to help small businesses and individuals reach their goals and potential. I can use my knowledge and experience in all aspects of Digital Marketing to help you create engaging videos, stunning photography, and overall engaging content while ensuring brand consistency. If you need help generating ideas, I can help you come up with ideas that are relevant and consistent with industry trends.
